~Twenty traditional growers from Troumaca and Rose Hall met at the Rose Hall Government school on Sunday to form a Cooperative. The purpose of the conference was to facilitate their participation in the medicinal cannabis industry. Their decision of forming a Cooperative as opposed to doing so as individual farmers was reached after some discussion. Following this, it was agreed that a Cooperative will make them stronger by pooling their resources together, give them more bargaining power, as well as greater access to support from development agencies. The meeting was facilitated by Spirit Cottle Community Liaison officer with the MCA, Jua Charles of the CRC and Cain and Stingy from the group Rastafari Agri of Troumaca.
